Welcome to the culinary oasis of Khao peeyo, a modern Indian restaurant nestled at 4744 Boul. Saint-Jean, Pierrefonds, QC. Known for its vibrant atmosphere and exceptional flavors, Khao peeyo is redefining the Indian dining experience in Canada.
Stepping inside, you are greeted by a spacious setting that holds the promise of a memorable meal. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance of modern aesthetics with cultural warmth, making it a great spot for casual meet-ups or special celebrations. With a dedicated team that provides attentive service — as many patrons have noted — visitors can expect a dining experience that goes beyond just food. As one satisfied customer, Kaavish Khanna, said, "Service was impeccable — attentive without being intrusive," highlighting the restaurant's commitment to hospitality.
Khao peeyo boasts an array of delicious dishes that cater to all palates. The vegetarian platter is a delightful introduction, with its combination of flavors that excite the taste buds. Chirag Rakholiya raved about the creamy mutter methi malai and the soft, flaky laccha paratha, both of which showcase the kitchen's skill in elevating traditional recipes to new heights. For those who crave a burst of flavor, their aloo chana tikki and lamb korma come highly recommended, each bite transporting diners to the heart of India.
Moreover, Khao peeyo pays homage to dessert enthusiasts with its delightful rasmalai, a sweet finish that will tantalize your taste buds. However, for the more adventurous, options like the dahi puri might require a careful approach — as a fellow diner humorously noted, it’s “filled to the brim with yogurt,” making it a challenge for one bite. Perhaps venturing towards the pani puri could provide a more manageable, yet equally delightful alternative.
Crowned with positive testimonials, Khao peeyo is not just a restaurant; it’s a culinary journey where each dish is crafted with passion. Whether you're a seasoned Indian food lover or trying it for the first time, Khao peeyo promises to deliver not only on taste but also on quality service and inviting ambiance. With its strong showing of five-star reviews from patrons like Anish Pattni — who declares, "It’s always been perfect" — it’s clear that Khao peeyo is a must-visit destination for food lovers in the area. Oh my god! After a long time, I finally found the best place to eat in Montreal. The food was so tasty and fresh. We went there for the first time and tried the tandoori platter, hakka noodles, mutter methi malai, and their special lachha paratha (highly recommend this one – it’s a must-try, especially if you ask for Amisha to serve it). Another big plus is that the restaurant stays open until 4 AM, which is perfect for late-night food cravings. The interior is really nice too, which makes the whole experience even better. Honestly, this is one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend everyone in the area to give this new spot a try – you won’t regret it!
